KALIVES

THALATTA STUDIOS

Kalives

Kalyves is a small village between Gerakini and Agios Mama, which comes alive during the summer. Kalives got their name from the makeshift accommodations, in which the inhabitants of Polygyros lived during the harvest. The permanent residents of the settlement are engaged in the production of edible olives (the famous "thick olive" of Halkidiki) and in Kalives they have their arable lands. However, in the last decade, the area has experienced a great tourist development as luxury tourist units are being built.

THE WATER PARADISE

Kalives beach

The beach at Kalives is a huge stretch of sand that extends across the entire gulf formed between Kassandra and Sithonia. Kalives has a wide, very attractive and organized beach with golden sand and emerald waters. It is an ideal destination for those who want rest and relaxation, since it is not flooded with people during the summer. The sand continues into the sea so there is no fear of stones or sea urchins while the sea gradually deepens making it ideal for small children.
